What is your philosophy towards your work?
Work work work. The only way to improve is too keep working and trying.
Who or what has been a big influence on your way of thinking?
I have had the opportunity to work with very talented people who have taught me a lot.
What would you say is your strongest skill?
Wanting to learn something new every day and never being satisfied with less when I can do better.
What’s better in France than in Australia?
The price of alcohol and cigarettes... More seriously, the internet speeds, because it has a direct impact on the type of content you can see. It’s more complicated here to have full video experiences in websites for example.
What’s better in Australia than in France?
The weather! Plus here we produce a lot and much faster than in France where sometimes we have the feeling that we are asking too many questions.
What do you think is a designer’s most common mistake?
Not using a grid. Joseph Muller Brockmann wrote a book about it, 'Grid System'. It is essential in print as it can be in web, especially for responsive websites. For example designing with a grid works really well for layouts with floating content.
What are you passionate about besides your work?
Art in general because it is also a great source of inspiration in our field.
